On Jan 28th/ 2012 I gave up drinking Pop
Its been over a month and i'm still going strong :)
I'm not going to lie the first week was extremely difficult
The first day I hard a really bad migraine and the second day I couldn't sleep
After I got through the first week I no longer had withdrawal symptoms
I can definitely say I was addicted to Pop (mostly Diet Coke) drinking around 2-3 cans a day
The key to giving up anything is to resist placing emphasis on what you're doing
I found in the past, my failed attempts were mainly caused by the amount of pressure I placed on myself
