Dirty Makeup Brushes
-When you use a makeup brush you are potenially collecting dead skin cells and bacteria onto your brush. Over time, your brush builds up with skin cells and bacteria (sounds gross). Make sure you clean your brushes every 2 weeks, using a regular shampoo. Between uses you can use 99.9% rubbing alcohol, spritz the alcohol onto a paper towel and rub your brush back and forth over the alcohol.(source:thestylespy.com)
Dirty Pillow Case
- Make sure you change your pillow case weekly!! The natural oils from your hair and makeup (if you forget to wash it off) collect on the surface of your pillow. This buildup of oil and product can clog your pores.
