What's On Your Bucket List?

My sanity comes from the sheets of papers I have taped to my walls. To the outsider it presents itself as enormous word jumble with no real meaning just a a bunch of insignificant words; weetabix, run, ipod, school, guidance, print. But to me these words form a greater function than just terms, they create a LIST. For some reason I cannot cope with the stress of having tasks floating around my brain so writing them onto a paper helps to elevate the stress. I have been writing lists for years, my elementary journals are filled with lists of things to do, which I would write before bed. Also, the feeling of being able to check something off my list gives me this small sense of accomplishment, which is probably my motive for continuing this process.

Instead of writing a day-to-day list i'm going to go bigger and write out a life list. A life list which is also called a 'bucket list' is a list of things you want to accomplish just before you die or 'kick the bucket'.

An example of things you might find on a bucket list:

    1. Write a script for a TV show. 2. Do stand-up comedy. 3. Attend a rock concert. 4. Go camping. 5. Ride a horse. 6. Learn how to salsa dance. 7. Host Saturday Night Live. 8. Visit a Renaissance fair. 9. Sing Karaoke 10. Witness a solar eclipse.

Inspirational words,
"This is the true joy in life, the being used for a purpose recognized by yourself as a mighty one; the being thoroughly worn out before you are thrown on the scrap heap; the being a force of Nature instead of a feverish selfish little clod of ailments and grievances complaining that the world will not devote itself to making you happy."

George Bernard Shaw
